June 02, 2014

This week has been a way crazy week. On Tuesday morning we got the lovely oppurtunity for me and another missionary to get up at4am to go drop off all the people leaving home at the bus stop. It was pretty much the worst thing ever having to wake up that early and it made for a super long day of work after that. On Wednesday we went out with one of the three elders that were still here and went and worked his area. It was super awesome to go out there and the picture is of us teaching out there. There were just like 50 people around listening to him teach. It was a really awesome experance to see.
I finally got my new companion on Thursday. It took him forever to get out here because the Taxi brus driver was not the most talented one we have seen. His name is Elder Bowler and he is from Las Vegas. He is a way cool guy and he is already super good at the language. I also found out that I don't have to redue the training program which is super awesome. All I have to do is just get better at the language and teaching which is super nice.
We went out to teach friday and he got the lovely chance to bike out to our area. Needless to say he was not the biggest fan of biking 20km on the world's worst bike but he didn't complain to much. We went and taught one of the people out there and they actually have started to remember some of the stuff that we have been teaching them. It is really hard for people out here to remember because they don't have any education at all but they do learn.
Fast sunday was a pretty brutal day without having any food and having to make sure you are still working the whole time. We finally made it home and just our luck the stove ran out of gas while we were cooking our food. So we got to drive to the other house to finish cooking our food. It has been a pretty crazy week but I am so happy to have a new companion who can help me become a better missionary and also someone that can actually speak the language. Plus we are going to get this area out here going. Well I hope you all have a great week!!!
Love,
Elder Johnson
